Arwen & Jasper: An ES Farm Dog Love Story |
From the moment Jasper joined our family back in 2014, Arwen was head over heals for him. They have been inseparable ever since. They are akin to a devoted married couple. They have two main preferences: To be with me and to be with each other, preferably doing important farm stuff, like keeping things in their place and varmints and deer at bay. When in the house, foot room under the desk is prime real estate, generally Arwen warming my feet and Jasper having my back or at the side of my chair.
Arwen and Jasper are both from working line dogs and go back to working dogs, (Butcher/Anderson/Merz, predominantly), and have several pups placed and working on active farms and homesteads, and also in active family homes, and receiving excellent reports back. Both are good varmint hunters and are rules oriented dogs. These dogs want to be an integral part of the family, they want to work and play WITH YOU!
